These acorn ring boxes have been cut from various timbers and hand carved. 

All but one measure approximately

Top - 4.5cm wide

Base - 3cm outside & 2.5cm inside cavity

Depth vary from 1.5cm - 1.8cm

The smallest is 3.5cm with a depth of 1cm. Other measurements are the same as others.

They have been sealed with oil to retain the natural beauty of the timber.

The light coloured ones are cut from a fruit tree branch. One was cut from Red Gum that was destined for the fire. (It is NOT as red as in the picture) The two darker ones are from reclaimed timber, the wood is unknown. They all have the same internal hole of 25mm but vary slightly in depth. The lids are all the same measurements of 40mm on the outside. Each acorn has been oiled to keep the timber a natural colour & feel. I have added a small piece of foam that keeps the ring in an upright position. It can be easily removed or replaced if needed. It depends on the size of the ring with a stone on how it can be placed in the box. However there are a few different ways of displaying it within the box if you play around with it.
